Born and raised in California, Veronica Casillas Lopez is the second oldest of five children. From an early age, Veronica knew she would be involved in entertainment and business. As a child, she used to record make-believe newscasts and create character voices for commercials during playtime at home. She also talked about marketing and business plans for her Mama’s chili recipes.
While in high school she was chosen to participate in Camfel productions projects. The non-profit organization specializes in three-screen multimedia assembly presentations, shown throughout the United States, that motivate teens to recognize the possibilities inside them.
During her college years, she was involved and played lead roles in numerous student projects. It was during this course of time that her voice over career began and V Media Production was born. Veronica has worked with numerous companies in this capacity, including Time Warner, Hyundai, Genesis navigation, State Farm, and Comcast. In addition, her voice can be recognized in the customer service attendant you hear on the Premier Bankcard automated phone system, various VRU prompts, museum tours, and educational cartoon recordings.
Veronica has had a long passion for working with small and emerging businesses, developing and managing processes, and watching the companies or departments grow and prosper. She has also had the honor of serving as Board Member of the Miss Friendly El Monte pageant, is currently a member of the American Women of Radio and Television, is involved with the National Marfan Foundation, and is honored to be part of Mutineer Theatre Company. She is looking forward to watching MTC thrive.
In her spare time, Veronica enjoys hosting, spending time with her husband of six years and their Bassett Hound Baby.
