
Soo-Jin Lee was born in Pusan, South Korea and was raised in northern Virginia. She is a playwright and screenwriter.
Her plays have been produced, developed, and presented at the Smithsonian Institution's Discovery Theater, at Theater Mu's New Eyes Festival, at the University of Houston's Edward Albee's New Playwrights Festival, at the University of Tulsa, and at the University of Texas at Austin.
Two short screenplays have been produced in Austin. In 2007, Lee received the New Works for Young Women Prize for her first play, Peaches.
She holds a MFA in theater from the University of Texas at Austin, where she also taught acting and playwriting. She lives in Los Angeles. For more information, please visit www.soo-jinlee.com
