"Mutineer Theatre Company has done it again…hilarious and intelligent…the refreshingly raw new piece breathes playful life into painful neuroses, proving new works can play an invigorating role within the theatrical canon."

Love is a battlefield…and sometimes it's more like a puppet show, a plane crash, or a major surgery. Metaphors come to life in this off-beat whimsical comedy that delights in an irreverent and humorous look at the trials and tribulations of love, self, and relationships.
Beth has never been able to find success in love. Her ex, William has never been able to find success in, well, anything.
When Beth realizes on the altar she doesn't love her fiancé, she impulsively runs away and wrecks her car into a ditch where she subsequently calls William. With the possibility of love reawakening, they must face head-on what went awry in the past and why they always find failure when it comes to matters of the heart. Can they find their truest selves and the ability to find love? Can a broken love be made as good as new? Is "good as new" overrated?
